Text Link the best way to get Quality Conversations

The bottom line is, if a Web site has a good quantity of reliable, subject-related links it should be placed at or near the top of the popular search engines. Link building is both a science and an art. There are proven ways to make these connections work without wasting
a lot of time and money getting onto every list available. This means you have to do what it takes to make your site and your links available to the correct group of people.

The network that can carry a Web site to the top is built with exposure to a specific group of people. Target audiences are the crucial factor for anyone considering directory submissions.

Assume you have a site that offers Product X and related services. A particular sector of the online population will go to search engines and use Product X or one of the related services as a keyword for their search. Your goal is to have a Web site and its link at the top of the search engine when this target group searches. This could mean significant traffic to your site and consequently, significant income for you.

Link building is not a quick way to make a dollar or two. It takes careful planning and serious effort. You should also make use of several of the quality directories in your chosen area, whether these are link directories, article directories or a combination of both. You should also know about the different kinds of links so you can make the most efficient use of your time and effort.

Here are some key categories:

No Follow – Search engines treat the no-follow directions as “a signal that link popularity should not be passed through that link.” (Wikipedia) This is a “way of not vouching for the quality of the site being linked to, and is heavily used by sites that allow users to insert links into content that isn’t reviewed before being published.”

Authority – You may have to buy these links from sites such as Google Search, Yahoo Directory etc. These sites rank for top-level keywords.

Directory – The best advice is to submit only three or four times a month to directories. Don’t flood them!! Some people who work with SEO think directory links are the best way to go but they may not be as strong as relevant, one-way links.

One-Way – This will be one of the most effective ways to get rankings. Think about quality content and link bait. Don’t get trapped into sponsored links and advertising. Try forums for focused content and audiences.
Press Release – Press release submission services and sites are leaders in the field. Try PR.com, for example.

Reciprocal – This type of link is rather easy to get but is not necessarily the most effective link category. Think about this: Reciprocal links are usually an equal exchange – you get what you give in quality and reliability.

Pre-sell Page – These might be a little harder to find. Contact webmasters. The entire page is your content so they can be excellent for SEO.

Social Media – This has become a real buzzword in the online community over the past couple of years. With this type of link you need to think about people getting together and having a conversation. That’s the key word today – conversation.

RSS/Blog – Think about syndication. Start your blog with quality content and make sure you have RSS, Atom etc.
This is only a short list!! There are many other types of links that you can use to build your presence. Use these ideas and learn more about: site-wide links; three-way link; links to and from media outlets such as radio stations, television stations and newspaper companies; edu and gov links; article submission links.

Not Just the Traffic, Silly!

No matter how you go about getting linked up with others who have similar interests, stimulating traffic is only part of the story. Remember, we mentioned conversations earlier. Success in the online world is about connections, of course, but after you make the connection you need to continue the conversation.

Of course, it’s tempting to just get started, try to make money quickly and move on to something else. A few people have been fortunate enough to do this. You may find that success has a short life span when you flood the Web with information and hope 1 percent or 2 percent come back to you. However, if you have a little more patience than the next guy, use some intelligence and focus on the right link or article directories you may find yourself building a more long-term business.

You may as well begin with the free directories when you begin the process of submitting your site link to a links directory. Many of these will establish good connections in sufficient numbers. It pays, however, to be selective when submitting to the many free directory sites. You could sign on with a link-submission service if you have funds to pay the fees. Be very selective with this method because some services might flood the Web with your link and you are looking for quality connections.

People interested in your particular service or product will be looking for your sign and a brief explanation of what you offer. Those who are searching for something entirely different probably won’t come into your “store.” Your choice of a few select link or article directories is like putting up the right sign on your “main street business.” In fact, it may be better if they don’t. You need to focus on the customers with real potential.

One good point in advertising in Facebook is that you can choose your target market and direct to them your advertisement. Facebook ad campaign can be targeted to location, education, work place, language, and others.

It may also be beneficial for the website to have it promoted in Twitter. If the website has solid following on Twitter, it may help to promote your Facebook fan page there as well. You can also link your page to the website’s Twitter account.

These are just some of the ways that Search Engine Optimization Expert can apply to make use of the Facebook fan page to its optimum level. SEO Expert Ahmedabad Tips for Directory Submission

If you want your website to do well in SERPs, you need to build lots of backlinks to your website. One simple SEO tip for building links is to submit your site details to web directories. Web directories are a bit like online versions of a telephone book. Hundreds or thousands of sites are listed together with a short description of the website and a link to the site. Unlike most other types of website, directories actually WANT to give out links. There are thousands of directories available, so with a bit of persistence - either using manual submission or using a directory submission tool - you can build up hundreds of backlinks.

SEO isn’t as simple as submitting your site to thousands of directories though. The vast majority of directories will only give you a weak backlink and in a lot of cases, the web page your link appears on may be completely ignored by search engines like Google.

Over the past 3 or 4 years, Google has realised that people were building huge numbers of links through directory submission and has devalued the worth of directory links. It’s quite common to find directories that have a decent homepage PageRank of 3 or more but all their inner pages have a PR of N/A. A PageRank of N/A means that the links on the inner pages are pretty much worthless. This doesn’t mean though that all directory links are bad. If you have your site in Google Webmasters and Google shows the link from the directory in the External Links section, it means you get some benefit from the link even if it’s small. I know that for some of my sites in Google Webmasters shows a few hundred directory backlinks.

Here are 4 directory submission tips:

What sort of directories should you submit to?

Well, the usual advice is to submit to directories with high PR. However, for the reasons given above, just because a directory has a homepage PR of 4 or 5 doesn’t mean that the inner pages have any link juice to pass on.

Unless the directory is old and well-established, e.g. DMOZ or BOTW, you can’t be sure the homepage PR will stick for very long anyway. In some cases directories are put on dropped or recycled domains and usually, at the next PR update, the PR drops off.

Also, just because a directory is new, or has low PR today, doesn’t mean its PR won’t increase in the future. When people set up a new directory they often start out allowing free submissions or submission that don’t require a reciprocal link. So if a new directory appears make a submission before the directory goes paid or starts needing a reciprocal link before you get listed.

So my recommendation is that since directory submission is so easy, especially if you use a semi-automatic directory submitter, submit to as many as you can - new or old, high PR or low PR.

Do you get a benefit from being listed in major directories like BOTW?

As a SEO Expert Ahmedabad i have to say, in my experience the answer is no. I never saw any benefit from being listed in BOTW - either in ranking in SERPs or in traffic. I also never saw any decrease in rank or traffic from cancelling my listing in BOTW. I did save a few dollars though by cancelling my subscription.

Should you pay for submission?

Maybe, but not much. If you do pay for submission, make sure the page your site gets linked from will have a decent PR. You might pay for submission if you think the directory will give you lots of traffic even if the PR is N/A but you’ll never be able to tell how much traffic you’re going to get before you pay. In the past couple of years, I’ve received no more than a handful of referrals from directories. Remember also, that even if the page your link is on has a PR today, Google might come along and drop it to N/A in the next few months.

Should you give a directory a reciprocal link?

No. Reciprocal links are a bit devalued anyway. The whole idea of directory submission (and SEO) is to get a one way link to your website. Giving a link in return defeats the purpose of doing directory submission.

Google Adwords - SEO Expert Ahmedabad

Howdy ! today I would like to discuss about website promotion through "Google Adwords" as we know that its a pay service which provide google for improve your website popularity as well as traffic, As SEO Expert Ahmedabad i want to share some interesting information of Google Adwords for those who is really wanted to understand paid service of google.

The most valuable use of AdWords for SEO is to research keywords. Keywords are the basis of any SEO campaign and even if you are an expert in your niche, you should always research keywords simply because users frequently search for quite unexpected keywords and keyphrases you as an expert will never think of. Needless to say, what matters most for high rankings is which keywords your target audience is searching for, not which keywords you as an expert think are most popular in a particular niche.

In order to find what users are searching for, you need a keyword research tool. It is true that there are many special (free and paid) keyword research tools but Google AdWords Keyword Tool is light years ahead of them all.

It is simple to use AdWords to research keywords. You can either enter the URL of your site or put in some seed keywords, the tool will then automatically generate a whole bunch of suggested keywords. Look at the results and shortlist all the keywords that seem relevent and have a decent global search volume.

You may want to rank well for ALL the generated keywords, but its best to focus all your efforts on a selected few. The idea now is to find keywords that are relatively easy to optimize and yet have a decent search volume. These would be the keywords with the least compitetion in Google. Go to Google.com and enter each of your short listed keywords (one at a time). It is best if you search for the exact phrase, so surround your keyword with double quotes. Note how many web results there are for each of the phrases. Now that you have collected the 'Number of web results' for each keyword, calculate competition ratio by divding it's 'Global search volume' by the 'Number of web results'. The keywords with the higher ratios are the easier ones to optimize.

You can now start a SEO campaign for your keywords however you'll see next, it might be much wiser to start an AdWords campaign instead.

* To Ensure that the Keywords You Have Picked Convert Well

After you have picked your keywords, you need to verify if these keywords really work for you – i.e. if they convert properly. No matter how precise you've been when picking your keywords, if you don't test them in practice, you can never know for sure if they work well or don't. You can pick lucrative keywords with high global search volume and low levels of competition and still end nowhere.

However, let's pretend that this happens – We manage to top Google for "Search Engine Optimization” after a year of hard SEO work. To our greatest disappointment, even the first place for "Search Engine Optimization” on Google did'nt bring the expected results because the bounce rate for this particular keyword turned out to be very high. Since we do not provide SEO Services a lot of people reaching us via "Search Engine Optimization" may NOT be getting what they're looking for. Instead, lesser popular keywords, such as "SEO Tips” or "SEO Guide” might have lower bounce rates and may actually perform better than "Search Engine Optimization” did for us.

The result is not surprising but the price paid is. If we had launched an AdWords campaign, it would have saved a lot of trouble. We could have spent $20-50 on AdWords for "Search Engine Optimization” and it would have taken us a week or less to figure that the bounce rate for this keyword is very high and it makes no sense to do organic SEO for it. These $20-50 on AdWords would have spared a year of wasted SEO efforts.

* For Getting a Better CTR with Your Existing Rankings

In addition to keyword research, AdWords is a valuable tool for getting a better CTR (Click Thru Rate) with your existing rankings. You might rank well for a given keyword, get a lot of traffic, and still be unable to monetize this traffic because your CTR is low. The reasons for this might be various but inadequate title and description could be a very possible reason.

AdWords can also help you get better CTR with your existing rankings. For instance, if you run ad AdWords campaign and you are satisfied with the conversion/performance, you might want to keep changing your ad title and description until you feel you have reached the maximum CTR for your keywords.

Sure, it might take you a couple of tries till you find the winning combination of a title and a description and you might even lower your CTR in the process but once you find this magical combination of a title and description, just copy them as the title and description for your page in order to maximize your organic search CTR as well.

* For Geographic Targeting

One more good use of AdWords for SEO is geotargeting. If you bid on traffic from many geographic locations, you can use Google Analytics to compare how different locations convert. It is quite natural to have significant discrepancies in the conversions for the same keyword among the countries.

When you go to Google Analytics and see which countries are converting best, you can invest more effort in them. For instance, you can create local pages for these countries or target the geo-specific keywords with exceptionally good conversion rates.

AdWords is a really valuable tool not only for advertisers. It started as a tool for advertisers but its use is not restricted to them alone. For many publishers and SEO Experts AdWords is the most valuable tool because even a moderate AdWords campaign can give you valuable insights and save you a lot of time and money to optimize for words, which don't work for you.

Key Tips For Optimize Your Website better in Google Search Engine

Hi, to all this is 10 tip or tips to consider optimizing your site before sending it to Google. As SEO Expert Ahmedabad i have recommend below tips for improve your website better in the record of Google.

IF YOUR WEBSITE HAS THE WELCOME SCREEN :

make sure you have a text link that allows visitors access the site. It is common to see many sites with a welcome screen very striking and full of effects thrown into Flash but no other way to access the site. It is advisable to have a text link that gives access to the site "traditionally" because Google can not read Flash pages and therefore can not access the rest of the site.

SURE NOT TO HAVE BROKEN LINKS :

Sounds pretty obvious. But it's impressive the number of errors experienced by the Google engine daily due to broken links. So we would have to check all internal links on our site.

CHECK THE LABELS TITLE :

The title of the pages is very important to Google, so you should check that the TITLE tag is relevant to the content of the page in question. This does not mean you have to put a title of more than 20 words, but rather in keeping with the content and easy to read by search engines and surfers.

CHECK THE META TAGS :

Rumors that Google is not interested in the META tags are not entirely certain. Google uses these tags to describe a website when there is too much code to read. So enter some valid as META tags KEYWORDS and DESCRIPTION for keywords and site description respectively.

CHECK ALT TAGS :

ALT tags should be the least likely used by webmasters. We add these tags to describe images for them. They are not a factor, but a plus for Google.

CHECK YOUR FRAMES (FRAMES) :

A frame is a frame or separate box in which we can load a web page. If you use frames that Google can not index us 100%. I personally recommend not using frames, but if you decide to use them read this article.

HAVE YOU GOT DYNAMIC PAGES? :

It is known that the web evolved greatly in recent years, and that more and more pages based on dynamic scripting languages (PHP, ASP, etc.).. But it seems that Google is limiting the amount of dynamic pages it indexes, so we could include some static pages ... when the momentum is not necessary.

REGULARLY UPDATE :

This is a very important aspect that you should consider, as quickly Google indexes more pages that are updated with some regularity. Podes note that the number of pages indexed by the search engine is increased if you update daily, but may stagnate or decrease if not provide new content. I recommend you put a META option in the header to tell Google how often you should return to reindex.

ROBOTS.TXT :

This file can be very helpful if we use it correctly. With robots.txt you can filter search engines recorded our website and to restrict access to certain URL's that do not want to be indexed (login page, file folders, etc.).

"CAHE CACHE OR NOT? :

Google maintains a cache of some pages to have a faster access to them. Some webmasters prefer not to be cached, or Google cachee our pages all we have to do is place the following META tag between the heads:

META NAME = "ROBOTS" CONTENT = "NOARCHIVE" :

With that prevent robots from caching and archiving our pages.

How Search Engines Crawler Work

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is often considered the more technical part of Web marketing. This is true because SEO does help in the promotion of sites and at the same time it requires some technical knowledge – at least familiarity with basic HTML. SEO is sometimes also called SEO copyrighting because most of the techniques that are used to promote sites in search engines deal with text. Generally, SEO can be defined as the activity of optimizing Web pages or whole sites in order to make them more search engine-friendly, thus getting higher positions in search results.

The first basic truth you need to learn about SEO is that search engines are not humans. While this might be obvious for everybody, the differences between how humans and search engines view web pages aren't. Unlike humans, search engines are text-driven. Although technology advances rapidly, search engines are far from intelligent creatures that can feel the beauty of a cool design or enjoy the sounds and movement in movies. Instead, search engines crawl the Web, looking at particular site items (mainly text) to get an idea what a site is about. This brief explanation is not the most precise because as we will see next, search engines perform several activities in order to deliver search results – crawling, indexing, processing, calculating relevancy, and retrieving.

First, Search Engines Crawl the Web to see what is there. This task is performed by e piece of software, called a crawler or a spider (or Googlebot, as is the case with Google). Spiders follow links from one page to another and index everything they find on their way. Having in mind the number of pages on the Web (over 20 billion), it is impossible for a spider to visit a site daily just to see if a new page has appeared or if an existing page has been modified. Sometimes crawlers will not visit your site for a month or two, so during this time your Search Engine Optimization efforts will not be rewarded. But there is nothing you can do about it, so just keep quiet.

What you can do is to check what a crawler sees from your site. As already mentioned, crawlers are not humans and they do not see images, Flash movies, JavaScript, frames, password-protected pages and directories, so if you have tons of these on your site, you'd better run the Spider Simulator below to see if these goodies are viewable by the spider. If they are not viewable, they will not be spidered, not indexed, not processed, etc. - in a word they will be non-existent for search engines.
